Our Founder: Jeff Lubin
With over thirty years of rich experience in the wine and spirits industry, our founder, Jeff Lubin, is a seasoned professional whose passion for wine extends from the lush vineyards of Napa and Sonoma to the enchanting landscapes of Lodi and the Casablanca Valley in Chile. Jeff’s expertise, coupled with his effective sales and marketing skills, has left an indelible mark on wineries, both large and small.

A self-driven business professional, Jeff has navigated the industry’s three-tier system, showcasing his versatility through roles in Retail Management, Wine Wholesale sales, and comprehensive winery experience in Sales, Marketing, and General Management. Having played key roles in the growth of industry leaders such as Constellation Wines US, Delicato Family Vineyards, and Purple Wine & Spirits, Jeff embarked on a mission to support family-owned properties by establishing a wine business consulting company.

Independence Wine Marketing’s Inception
In 2016, Jeff humorously declared his decision to “use his corporate skills for good instead of evil” as he founded Independence Wine Marketing. With a goal to champion independent wine companies, Jeff, also known as a Brand Liberator, aimed to help these entities navigate the dynamic business environment shaped by the consolidation of wine companies and distributor networks.

We’ve added wine importing and California distribution to our toolbox, aiming to assist family-owned wine companies worldwide in entering the highly competitive and consolidated wine industry in California and other states across the United States.
