Our founder Jeff Lubin has over Thirty years’ experience in the wine and spirits industry. From Napa and Sonoma to Lodi and the Casablanca Valley in Chile, Lubin’s passion for the wine industry and his effective sales and marketing skills has benefited wineries large and small.

A self-driven business professional, Jeff has worked his way through the industry’s three-tier system with a long career including Retail Management, Wine Wholesale sales and winery experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management. After managing in key roles in the growth of current industry leaders that include Constellation Wines US, Delicato Family Vineyards, and Purple Wine & Spirits he branched out and created a wine business consulting company focused on family owned properties.

Jeff likes to joke that he decided to “use his corporate skills for good instead of evil” and started Independence Wine Marketing in 2016 with a goal to champion independent wine companies and help them manage the ever-changing business environment created by consolidation of wine companies and distributor networks.
With his entrepreneurial spirit and “half glass full” attitude, Jeff has named himself a Brand Liberator and has helped a number of wine companies achieve their short- and long-term goals.
